Point Your Name at Your Actor Website in Minutes
If you own a domain, you can point it at your actor website. Add it in your settings, make one change at your registrar, and it goes live once the change propagates.
What we handle
- The certificate. Issued and renewed automatically. Your site is served over a secure connection from the moment it resolves, with nothing to buy and nothing to remember.
- The www question. Both forms work and one redirects to the other, consistently, so you never have two versions of your site competing in search results.
- Redirects from your old address. Anything already linked to your platform address keeps working permanently.
That last one matters more than it sounds. Links to your site exist in casting databases, in old emails, and on other people's pages. Breaking them is the most common self-inflicted injury when somebody moves to a custom domain elsewhere.
What you have to do
One record at your registrar, which we show you exactly, including the specific values and where to find the setting for the common registrars. It is genuinely one field.
Then you wait. Changes propagate in anything from ten minutes to a few hours, occasionally longer, and there is nothing anybody can do to speed that up. The status panel tells you when it has taken rather than leaving you refreshing.
The mistake almost everybody makes
Assuming it is broken after twenty minutes and changing something else, which resets the clock. Make the change, close the tab, look again in the evening.
Which plan
A custom domain is on the paid plans. The free tier gives you a full site at a platform address, which is a real site and not a trial. If you want your own name in the bar, that is what the paid tier is mostly for.
Get the domain first
If you do not own one yet, check what is available using the domain availability checker before you buy anywhere. Buy it in your own name, at a registrar you can log into, and set it to renew automatically. A lapsed domain is very hard to get back and occasionally impossible.
